17. French Twist

No hairstyle is more elegant and classic than a French twist. The French really have a handle on the hair situation. This style is pretty easy to take on; simply twist your hair to the ends, starting at the nape of your neck. Gently pull upwards while twisting and the French twist will begin to form. Tuck the stray hair into the underside of the twist and fasten with bobby pins. You can update this look by literally turning the style on it’s side and twisting from ear to ear instead. Allow some wisps of hair to be loose around your face and neck for a youthful, more natural look.
