If you are looking for a way to lighten up your ‘do without changing your entire color, consider getting highlights put in. They are an excellent way to kick off the summer and get that beach bum look. You can go subtle, and stick to something that is a few shades lighter than your natural color, or you can choose a bolder shade and see if blondes really do have more fun. They can do highlights with dye or bleach, so if you have a preference, speak up before they start to mix the potion up. Ask your stylist about the benefits of each but know that once you start bleaching, it can be difficult to change the color.
