16. Clean your vacuum filter in the dishwasher

This might seem gross at first but hey, whatever works! And we’re not saying you wash it with your dishes. Neither do we recommend that you do since you do not want so much dirt to find its way to your dishes. Just put the vacuum filter in the dishwasher and wash it in a separate load. You will be surprised at the aftermath. The filthy, black vacuum filter will come out clean and white. It will look almost brand new. The best part: You did not have to spend loads of time scrubbing it restore it to its perfect condition. The dishwasher cleaned it for you and you practically had to do nothing.
