As surprising as it may seem, a sponge stand can prove to be highly useful as it allows the sponge to air dry instead of remaining damp. And by doing so, it stops the sponge from becoming a breeding ground for bacteria. To avoid this unhygienic situation, you can make a sponge stand by simply using a binder clip. What an incredibly cheap and effective hack, right?
