8. Hand paint the pots

Now this is the fun part. Hang out with the family over the holidays and have them paint or decorate the pots. Stick on some pebbles, stones, or just give them a colorful makeover. This is the part where you can also use some old stuff from your home in recycling processes as well. We all have pots in the gardens but what would set you apart is hand painting them and them putting them up for display in the garden. You can even go for season re-painting session to give the pots a new look every season.
